Terms of Service

Last updated: November 5, 2025

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Ryan Family Amusements! By using our website, mobile app, or visiting our locations (collectively, our “Services“), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms“). We’ve written these terms to be clear and straightforward. If you don’t agree with these terms, please do not use our Services.

  1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

We operate family entertainment centers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island where families can play games, enjoy food, celebrate special occasions, and create memories together. Our Services include our physical locations, our website for booking parties, events, and activities such as bowling and axe throwing, our mobile app for checking game availability and earning rewards, online employment applications, and related digital features.

  1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

We welcome families of all ages, but there are important guidelines to follow. If you’re under 13, you’ll need a parent or guardian to help you use certain features of our website and app. Users between 13 and 17 can create accounts with parental consent. Parents and guardians are responsible for how their children use our Services. When you create an account, please provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. If someone uses your account without permission, notify us immediately.

  1. ACCEPTABLE USE

We want everyone to have a great experience, so please use our Services responsibly. This means not using our website or app for illegal purposes, not attempting to access our systems without authorization, and treating other guests and team members with respect. Please don’t upload harmful content or harass other users. These guidelines help ensure everyone can enjoy our Services.

  1. IN-CENTER CONDUCT AND SAFETY

When you visit us in person, we want you to have an excellent experience while staying safe. Please follow the rules posted throughout our centers and listen to our team members’ instructions. We ask that you supervise children at all times.

Our games and equipment are designed to provide entertainment, so please use them as intended and notify our staff if anything appears to be malfunctioning. For safety reasons, we require closed-toe shoes in play areas, and some attractions have height or age requirements. We also ask that you don’t bring outside food or drinks into our centers, though we can accommodate special dietary needs or medical requirements.

For specific activities like axe throwing, additional safety rules apply. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our trained staff, remain in designated areas, and use equipment only as directed. Alcohol consumption is prohibited before or during axe throwing activities. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants who do not follow safety guidelines.

  1. RESERVATIONS, BOOKINGS, AND ACTIVITY RESERVATIONS

We offer online booking for birthday parties, corporate events, and other special celebrations, as well as specific activities like bowling and axe throwing. When you make a reservation through our website or app, you’ll need to provide payment information or a deposit. Each type of booking has its own specific terms, which we’ll clearly explain during the reservation process.

For activity bookings such as bowling or axe throwing, additional terms may apply including age restrictions, safety requirements, and specific rules of play. Participants in axe throwing must be at least 10 years old and those under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. All participants must sign a waiver before participating in axe throwing activities.

If your plans change and you need to cancel, our cancellation policies vary depending on what you’ve booked, and we’ll make sure you understand the policy before you confirm your reservation. If you don’t show up for your reserved time, you may forfeit your deposit, and late arrivals may result in shortened activity time. We try to accommodate changes when possible, but these policies help us serve all our guests fairly.

  1. PAYMENT, PRICING, AND GAME CARDS

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other convenient payment methods. You can also purchase and use game cards for arcade games and attractions. Our game cards have monetary value that can be loaded at our centers or through our app, and they provide a convenient way to enjoy our games without handling cash for each play.

Game cards are subject to the following terms: they are non-refundable and non-transferable, any remaining balance does not expire, and lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced unless you have registered the card through our system. Cards can be reloaded with additional funds at any time. The monetary value on game cards represents a prepaid purchase of entertainment services and has no cash redemption value.

Our prices are clearly posted and may change from time to time, but you’ll pay the price posted at the time of purchase. All applicable taxes will be added to your total, and sales are generally final unless specifically stated otherwise.

  1. LOYALTY PROGRAMS AND PROMOTIONS

Our loyalty program allows regular guests to earn rewards and benefits. The program has its own terms and conditions that will be provided when you sign up. Promotional offers typically cannot be combined unless specifically stated, and points or rewards have no cash value. We may update or modify our programs from time to time to improve the experience for our guests.

  1. OUR CONTENT AND YOURS

All the content on our website and mobile app, including our games, photos, videos, and text, belongs to Ryan Family Amusements or companies that have given us permission to use it. You’re welcome to enjoy this content, but please don’t copy it, share it commercially, or use our logos without asking us first.

When you share content with us, like photos from your visit or reviews, you keep ownership of that content, but you’re giving us permission to use it in our marketing and social media. We might feature your awesome photos on our Instagram or website! Just make sure that anything you share with us is really yours and doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that doesn’t meet our community standards.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

To make your experience even better, we integrate with some third-party services that you might already know and love. For example, we use Google Maps to help you find our locations and get directions, and we connect with Instagram so you can easily share your fun moments and see what other families are up to at our centers. When you use these integrated services, you’re also agreeing to their terms of service and privacy policies. We think these integrations make your experience more convenient, but we want you to know that these third-party companies have their own rules and policies that we don’t control.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please take a moment to read our Privacy Policy at https://ryanfamily.com/privacy-policy/, which explains everything in detail. By using our Services, you’re agreeing to our Privacy Policy too. We’ve worked hard to make it clear and understandable, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you might have about your privacy.

  1. EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS

Our website includes an online employment application system. When you submit an employment application through our website, you represent that all information provided is accurate and complete. We collect and use this information solely for employment-related purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable employment laws.

By submitting an application, you authorize us to verify the information provided and conduct background checks as permitted by law. Submission of an application does not guarantee employment or an interview. We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

All employment application information is kept confidential and is only shared with authorized personnel involved in the hiring process. Applications are retained in accordance with applicable record retention requirements.

  1. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

While we work hard to provide excellent service, there are a few important disclaimers. Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” which means that sometimes our website might be down for maintenance, or equipment might be temporarily out of order. We cannot guarantee that everything will work perfectly at all times, though we strive to provide reliable service.

We also cannot promise that our Services will meet every expectation, and using our Services involves some inherent risk. This legal language simply means that we all share responsibility for making good decisions when using our Services.

  1. LIMITS ON OUR LIABILITY

We love our guests and want to do right by you, but we also need to protect our business. If something goes wrong and it’s our fault, our liability is generally limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem occurred. We’re not responsible for indirect damages or consequences that we couldn’t have predicted.

Some states don’t allow certain types of liability limitations, so if you live in one of those states, some of these limits might not apply to you. We’re not trying to get out of taking responsibility when we should, but we need these protections to keep providing great service to all our guests.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION

Just as we work to provide you with a quality experience, we ask that you help protect us as well. If someone claims we did something wrong because of how you used our Services, or if you break these Terms, or if you violate someone else’s rights while using our Services, you agree to help defend us and cover any resulting costs. This is standard practice and ensures we can continue providing services to all our guests.

  1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Our centers are active entertainment venues, and physical activities involve inherent risks of injury. We work hard to maintain our equipment and keep our centers safe, but we need you to understand that you’re choosing to participate in these activities. If you have any health concerns, please check with your doctor before engaging in physical activities at our centers. We want everyone to have fun, but safety comes first, and you know your own limits better than anyone.

  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We hope any disagreements can be resolved through direct communication. If we can’t resolve things through friendly conversation, these Terms are governed by Massachusetts law. For bigger disputes, we’ll need to handle things in Massachusetts courts, but for smaller claims under $10,000, we can use binding arbitration, which is often faster and less expensive for everyone involved.

  1. TERMINATION

You can stop using our Services anytime you want by closing your account or just not visiting us anymore. We hope you won’t want to leave, but we understand that circumstances change. We might need to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or don’t use your account for a really long time.

If either of us ends this relationship, you’ll stop having the right to use our Services, but some parts of these Terms (like the parts about protecting each other) will continue to apply. Don’t worry, though, we’d much rather have you as a happy, long-term member of our community!

  2. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
